Job Description

Our client in Little Egg Harbor, NJ, is seeking an Administrative Assistant to help out their office. This is an Ongoing Temporary role with the potential to become Temp-to-Hire for the right candidate. The schedule for this role can be either Monday through Friday, 7:00am-3:00pm or 8:00am-4:00pm. This role is offering between $25-$30 per hour, based on experience.

Duties:

  • Answer phones, respond to emails and manage incoming and outgoing correspondence
  • Maintain and organize project files, contracts, permits and other construction documents
  • Prepare, track and maintain PIT (permit, inspection, and testing) packages ensuring all documents are up-to-date and submitted in a timely manner
  • Track and manage subcontractor paperwork
  • Assist with scheduling inspections, deliveries and appointments
  • Order and maintain office supplies
  • Support accounting tasks such as invoicing, time sheet collection and expense reporting
  • Maintain an update project management software and spreadsheets
  • Coordinate with vendors, clients and construction teams as needed
  • Additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • 2 years’ of administrative experience is required
  • Must have experience working in a construction office
  • Experience with Sage 100 and Salesforce is a huge plus!
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially with Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
