Job Overview
As a Senior Accountant, you'll play a key leadership role in our finance team. You'll oversee core accounting functions, guide junior staff, and provide strategic financial insights that help drive our expansion. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and wants to make a difference.
Key Responsibilities Leadership & Oversight
• Lead the month-end and year-end close processes.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering professional development.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely, accurate processing.
• Manage vendor and client financial relationships.
• Support hiring and onboarding of new finance team members.
Strategic & Financial Analysis
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Provide actionable insights to management through financial reporting.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and tracking performance against targets.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation tools.
Compliance & Controls
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations.
• Support audits and regulatory filings.
• Monitor internal controls and financial policies.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
• Experience in the travel or hospitality industry is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
• Salary Range: $80,000-$95,000 (based on experience and qualifications)
