Job Title: Recruiter/ Talent Acquisition Coordinator (Short-Term)

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive short term Recruiter/ Hiring Coordinator to support our team during a high-volume recruiting period. This is a four-month contract role with the potential for extension. The ideal candidate will have experience sourcing and managing candidates across a range of roles, conducting interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers to move candidates efficiently through the hiring process. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys full-cycle recruiting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with full-cycle recruiting across assigned roles (job posting, sourcing, screening, scheduling, offer support)
• Work with hiring managers to define role requirements and develop sourcing strategies
• Source candidates via LinkedIn, job boards, employee referrals, and other platforms
• Conduct phone screens and initial interviews to assess candidate fit
• Maintain and update list of candidates
• Coordinate interview scheduling with internal teams and candidates
• Communicate professionally and promptly with all applicants to ensure a positive candidate experience
• Provide regular updates to the HR team and hiring managers on recruiting progress
• Assist with offer letters and pre-hire documentation as needed

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in recruiting or talent acquisition
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Experience recruiting in creative, tech, or entertainment sectors is a plus

Work Environment

• Role will be hybrid in Santa Monica
• Must be able to work during standard business hours (Monday–Friday)

Compensation

• $28–$40 per hour
