Real Estate Operations Project Manager

Location: Menlo Park, CA 94025

Salary: $123-125k

Employment Type: 6 mth Contract to start

About the Role & the Team:

We're looking for a Real Estate Operations Project Manager who is execution-focused, detail-oriented, and thrives in fast-paced environments. In this role, you’ll take ownership of end-to-end delivery for office commissioning, decommissioning, buildouts, and global real estate operations. You’ll work closely with teams across Physical Security, IT, Workplace, and Internal Communications to ensure every office project is functional, secure, and aligned with our culture and brand.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead office commissioning, decommissioning, and transitions from planning to execution
  • Manage real estate projects including office launches, closures, buildouts, moves, and renovations
  • Develop and manage project budgets; ensure cost control and timely delivery
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external architects on workplace design and functionality
  • Create and manage construction schedules to track milestones and manage risk
  • Maintain oversight of portfolio tracking, space planning, and workplace data
  • Ensure seamless project execution across Security, IT, Workplace, and Communications teams
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and budgets for service excellence
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions
  • Lead ad hoc strategic projects and contribute to internal process improvements
  • Develop and refine internal tools, templates, and workflows
  • Use data and metrics to inform strategy and drive continuous improvement
  • Design and implement sustainability initiatives in line with company values
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities and evolving business needs

About You:

  • 5+ years of experience in real estate operations, workplace, or facilities project management
  • Proven track record managing office openings, closures, and portfolio transitions
  • Strong collaboration skills across security, IT, HR, and workplace functions
  • Detail-oriented project manager with excellent vendor coordination skills
  • Data-driven mindset with ability to translate analysis into actionable improvements
  • Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments
  • Passionate about building efficient, inclusive, and sustainable workplaces
  • Proficiency with Slack and Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Slides)
