Project Manager - Commercial Construction (Federal Projects)

A respected Commercial General Contractor is seeking a skilled Project Manager with experience leading federal construction projects . This is an excellent opportunity to join a company known for delivering high-quality work on time and within budget, with a focus on government and military contracts.
Project Manager Responsibilities:
Oversee all phases of federal construction projects-from preconstruction through closeout-as the lead Project Manager .
Ensure compliance with federal regulations, contract documents, and quality control standards (USACE, NAVFAC, GSA, etc.).
Collaborate with field teams, subcontractors, and government officials to ensure smooth project execution.
Manage project schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, and change orders with a high level of accuracy and accountability.
Lead project meetings, maintain clear documentation, and act as the primary point of contact with clients and stakeholders.
Work closely with estimators and preconstruction teams to develop competitive proposals and project plans.
Project Manager Requirements:
5 years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction, with a proven track record on federal/government projects.
Strong knowledge of FAR regulations, federal contracting procedures, and construction compliance.
Proficient in project management software (Procore, MS Project, or similar).
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to obtain or maintain necessary clearances (if required).
