Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Lead all phases of project execution, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource management. Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and execution plans.
  • Coordination: Act as the primary liaison among clients, architects, engineers, general contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are clearly defined and met. Provide regular updates and progress reports to stakeholders.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, monitor costs, and handle change orders to maintain profitability and cost control.
  • Drawings and Submittals: Oversee the preparation and coordination of shop drawings and submittals to ensure accuracy and alignment with project specifications.
  • Site Supervision: Conduct site visits to monitor progress, ensure safety compliance, address issues, and oversee installation activities.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Documentation: Maintain thorough project documentation, including daily reports, RFIs, change orders, and approvals. Prepare status reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, including junior project managers. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, regulations, and safety standards.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5 years of project management experience in commercial glazing or construction, ideally with large-scale projects involving unitized curtain wall systems.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of glazing systems (e.g., curtain walls, window walls, storefronts). Ability to read and interpret construction documents and shop drawings.
  • Project Management Tools: Proficient in software such as Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, Glazier Studio, Project365, Logikal, and Partner Pak.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities. Skilled in multitasking, problem-solving, decision-making, and negotiation.
