Job Title: Pharmacy Technician
Location: Morristown, NJ
Duration: 3 Months+ Contract (Possibilities of Extension)
Shift: Days; start times may vary, 7 am – 10 am. (5*8)hrs OR (3*12)hrs.
Payrate: $25/hr on w2 (without benefits)
Duties:
· Prepares extemporaneous preparations accurately.
· Legibly signs all paperwork associated with these processes.
· Handles requests via phone, window, fax, and computer in a professional and timely manner.
· Prepares IVs aseptically and in a timely manner promoting efficiency and cost effectiveness.
· Assures all products are bar-coded.
· Places ancillary labels on specified products when necessary.
· Checks expirations on all medications, pulls outdated products and places in a segregated area to be returned/destroyed.
