Saxe Doernberger & Vita, a national insurance coverage law firm with offices in Trumbull, Connecticut, is seeking a Litigation Paralegal with 5+ years of experience as a paralegal.

We are among the elite law firms in the country solely representing policyholders in insurance coverage disputes. We advise our clients on all manner of insurance coverage issues including policy placements, renewals, drafting policy language, contractual risk transfer and claims. We also litigate coverage disputes between our clients and insurance carriers.

We are currently recruiting for a Litigation Paralegal responsible for supporting multiple Attorneys in our Connecticut office. This position is located in the firm's Trumbull, CT office. The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize conflicting needs, handle matters proactively and expeditiously and follow through on projects to successful completion, often under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Paralegal support for multiple attorneys.
• Manage complex litigation files.
• Prepare pleadings.
• Oversee filings in multiple jurisdictions throughout the U.S.
• Manage large amounts of documents and document productions.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in complex litigation required.
• Multiple jurisdictional experience preferred (New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and/or Connecticut).
• BA degree or paralegal certificate from ABA approved paralegal program preferred.
• Experience working with various aspects of large case litigation.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to independently prioritize workload.
• Must be detail-oriented and able to work under tight deadline pressure.
• Must possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as oral and written communication skills.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
