Laboratory Technician – Quality Control / Wet Chemistry

$20.96–$24.37/hour + $0.75/hour 3rd Shift Differential

We’re hiring a Quality Control Laboratory Technician to support overnight lab operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is an excellent long-term opportunity for someone with a Bachelor’s degree in a science field (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, etc.) who’s looking to gain hands-on experience with wet chemistry techniques and analytical lab equipment in a GMP-regulated setting.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine QC testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products
• Conduct wet chemistry procedures including pH, viscosity, titrations, and density measurements
• Operate lab instruments such as FTIR, HPLC, GC, viscometers, balances, and pH meters
• Record and communicate results clearly and accurately according to SOPs
• Maintain lab cleanliness and ensure instruments are calibrated and audit-ready
• Support process validations, stability studies, and pilot batch testing as needed
• Follow GMP guidelines, safety protocols, and quality standards consistently
• Collaborate with QA and production teams on any deviations or test failures
• Enter data into LIMS and internal systems for sample tracking and documentation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or a related science
• OR Associate’s degree with 1–2 years of relevant wet chemistry lab experience
• Familiarity with standard lab equipment and testing procedures
• Detail-oriented with the ability to follow written procedures precisely
• Comfortable working independently on 3rd shift in a regulated environment
• Prior experience in a quality lab or GMP/FDA-regulated setting is a plus, but not required
