GENERAL RESPONSABILITIES

The Investor Relations Manager will play a critical role in capital formation by cultivating and managing equity investor relationships for real estate development projects. This individual will oversee all investor communications, coordinate equity fundraising strategies at the project level, and work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure the Company’s capital needs are met efficiently and effectively.

Equity Capital Raising:

  • Source and cultivate new equity partners, including High Net Worth Individuals, Family Offices, and Private Equity Firms.
  • Strategically manage and expand existing investor relationships to support ongoing and future capital needs.
  • Lead the preparation and organization of the equity schedule and fundraising strategy across the development portfolio.
  • Collaborate with Investments and Asset Management teams to support capital raising initiatives; coordinate on production of offering materials and negotiation terms.
  • Maintain and regularly update a comprehensive list of potential investors, tracking engagement history and investment preferences.
  • Travel as needed to meet with existing and prospective investors, attend industry conferences, and conduct site tours.

Investor Relations & Reporting:

  • Manage investor communications and coordinate monthly and annual reporting packages in conjunction with the Legal, Accounting, Investments and Asset Management teams.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with operating agreements and investor-related regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain a current understanding of market trends, terms, and competitor activity in the real estate capital markets.

CRM & Events:

  • Lead the management of the investor CRM platform, ensuring data accuracy and engagement tracking.
  • Organize and coordinate investor events, meetings, and conference participation to support relationship-building and capital campaigns.

Industry Engagement:

  • Attend key real estate capital markets conferences to represent the company, build relationships, and stay informed on emerging capital sources and terms.
  • Serve as an internal resource on capital market intelligence to support strategic planning and project positioning.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in investor relations, capital markets, private equity, or real estate finance.
  • Demonstrated success in raising equity capital for real estate or comparable investment vehicles.
  • Strong understanding of equity structures, joint venture agreements, and investor reporting practices.
  • Experience with promote structures and waterfall modeling in joint venture agreements.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • High degree of professionalism and discretion in managing investor communications.
  • Fluent in Spanish (Portuguese a plus).
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
