Job Description

Hi-Speed Industrial Service is seeking a skilled Industrial Motor Repair Technician with hands-on experience in servicing electric motors, pumps, gearboxes, and fans. This role is ideal for someone with mechanical aptitude, electrical knowledge, and a proactive approach to diagnosing and resolving equipment issues. You’ll play a vital part in supporting our customers and maintaining our reputation for quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of industrial equipment, including AC/DC motors, pumps, gearboxes, and fans.
  • Test electromechanical components to identify and troubleshoot faults.
  • Disassemble, inspect, and clean mechanical and electrical parts for repair or replacement.
  • Reassemble equipment and perform final testing to ensure proper operation.
  • Document service and repair actions in work orders and reports.
  • Use specialized tools and testing equipment effectively and safely.
  • Provide on-site service as needed and represent the company professionally in the field.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in motor repair, industrial equipment maintenance, or a related field.
  • Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Valid driver's license and DOT medical certification.
  • Certifications and/or technical training in industrial maintenance or related fields are a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders and stairs, and work extended hours or travel for field assignments.

  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage time effectively.
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
