Job Title: Site Supervisor (Site Project Manager) – HVAC Renovation Project

Location: Newport News, VA

Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Schedule to be discussed with hiring manager)

Work Arrangement: 100% On-site (No remote/hybrid options)

Job Type: Temporary/Contract (2 Months with possible extension)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Site Supervisor with hands-on experience in HVAC systems and general contracting to oversee a renovation project at Mary Passage Middle School in Newport News, VA. This is a temporary role ideal for professionals or retirees with a strong background in construction management and site coordination.

The Site Supervisor will act as the on-site representative, coordinating subcontractors, monitoring progress, and ensuring that all work aligns with project specifications and school schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary on-site contact between subcontractors and the school district.
• Oversee daily site operations and ensure subcontractor access and compliance.
• Conduct and lead weekly site meetings with subcontractors to discuss schedules and deliverables.
• Manage and track progress against project milestones and deadlines.
• Maintain organized project documentation and update reports as needed.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and project specifications.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC systems and general contracting .
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications .
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills .
• Strong organizational and scheduling capabilities.
