Driver Recruiter – Confidential Employer

Cincinnati, OH | Hybrid (1–4 days per month, or as needed for occasional projects)

We are seeking an experienced Driver Recruiter to join our team. This role is based in the Cincinnati market with a hybrid schedule, requiring 1–4 days per month in the office (or as needed for occasional projects). While the drivers you recruit will be located across multiple regions, you’ll serve as the key point of contact for building relationships and securing top driving talent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and attract qualified CDL drivers through online platforms, social media, networking, and referrals.
  • Quickly connect with new driver leads and maintain ongoing communication throughout the hiring process.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and recommend effective recruiting strategies.
  • Build strong relationships with CDL schools, industry groups, and professional driver associations.
  • Accurately maintain candidate and requisition information in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Provide candidates with a clear, professional, and positive recruiting experience.
  • Monitor industry trends and share insights that improve recruiting effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience recruiting CDL drivers (required).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage drivers across different markets.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Creative approach to driver sourcing and recruitment strategies.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working closely with leadership on staffing initiatives.
