Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Dispatch Coordinator to join our Telecom Services team. This critical role ensures seamless coordination between Telecom customers, field technicians, and third-party service vendors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all service call-out requests from initiation to resolution while maintaining effective communication and performance standards with both internal teams and external partners.

What you would be doing:

  • End-to-End Call-Out Management: Receive, log, and manage all service call-out requests from customers, ensuring they are handled efficiently from start to finish.
  • Vendor Coordination: Identify and contact the appropriate vendor based on the nature of each call-out. Maintain an updated directory of service vendors by region and specialization.
  • Vendor Oversight: Monitor performance, response times, and job completion quality of third-party service vendors. Escalate issues as needed and ensure vendor compliance with service-level expectations.
  • Field Technician Dispatching: Determine and assign the appropriate Delta field technician to customer service requests based on geography, skill set, and availability.
  • Communication Management: Serve as the primary liaison between customers, vendors, and internal field teams to ensure clear and timely communication throughout the service process.
  • Status Tracking: Maintain accurate records of service request progress and completion within dispatching software or CRM tools.
  • Problem Resolution: Proactively identify potential delays or issues and take corrective action to ensure timely service delivery.
  • Reporting: Generate and review weekly dispatch reports to analyze call volume, response times, and resolution metrics. Recommend improvements to enhance service efficiency.

What we require (Skills and Background):

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Telecommunications, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in a dispatch, coordination, or customer service role—preferably in the telecommunications or service industry
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
