Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a Customer Service Representative for a full-time position with a leading client, based in Kansas City, KS (on-site). In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, assisting them with placing orders, resolving inquiries, and ensuring a seamless and positive experience.

Rate Range: $20 per hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Engage with customers via phone, email, and in person to take orders and provide information on products and services
• Enter and manage orders for new or additional products
• Address customer questions and complaints; escalate complex issues to the Supervisor or appropriate team members
• Ensure prompt and effective resolution of customer concerns
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, orders, and account details
• Prepare weekly machine order reports and reconcile with shipment and production reports
• Track and manage documentation for leasing and consignment of machines, including invoicing
• Assist in key account tracking and sales reporting
• Support team operations with a flexible, cross-trained approach
• Perform additional duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous customer service experience preferred
• Excellent communication and active listening skills
• Strong customer service orientation with a focus on resolution and satisfaction
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to learn new systems quickly
• A team player with a collaborative mindset

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Prolonged periods of sitting and computer work
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally
