Contract Specialist - Construction Contracts

We're seeking a Contract Specialist for a contract-based role supporting legal and operational teams in managing complex construction agreements. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working across multiple stakeholders.

🔍 About the Role

As a Contract Specialist, you'll play a key role in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating construction-related contracts. You'll support project teams, legal counsel, and procurement functions to ensure contracts align with business goals and risk tolerance.

💼 Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of construction contracts, including subcontractor agreements, purchase orders, and service contracts
  • Collaborate with legal, project management, and procurement teams to ensure contract compliance and risk mitigation
  • Support contract lifecycle management, including amendments, renewals, and closeouts
  • Assist in developing and maintaining contract templates and playbooks
  • Provide guidance on contractual obligations, terms, and conditions
  • Track and manage contract-related documentation and deadlines

✅ Qualifications

  • Extensive experience with construction contracts (commercial, industrial, or infrastructure preferred)
  • Strong understanding of contract law, risk allocation, and construction delivery methods
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities
  • JD is not required , but legal education or paralegal experience is a plus
  • Experience with contract management systems is a bonus
