DESCRIPTION
The Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) is the state of Florida’s social services agency. The agency oversees services for child safety, fostering, adoption, domestic violence, adult protective services, refugees, homelessness, mental health, substance abuse, childcare providers, human trafficking and public assistance. The agency’s mission is to work in partnership with local communities to protect the vulnerable, promote strong and economically self-sufficient families, and advance personal and family recovery and resiliency.
Within DCF, the Child and Family Well-Being Program (CFWB)office is recognized as the single state authority for child welfare and prevention services. The program office is committed to the well-being of children and their families. Our responsibilities encompass a wide-range of services, including – among other things – assistance to families working to stay safely together or be reunited, foster care, youth and young adults transitioning from foster care to independence, adoption.

This is a highly responsible and professional position that will serve as a Contract Manager Specialist within the CFWB Office. This is a professional position performing highly responsible technical, consultative, and administrative work. This position will manage multiple multi-million dollar contracts and will be responsible for mission critical contract management and business administration functions to support statewide CFWB operational, client-service, and ancillary support needs. This position will collaborate with each section within the program office and be required to use independent judgement, take initiative in carrying out duties and responsibilities and should be extraordinarily detail oriented.

Possess at least 5 years of experience managing contracts in excess of $5 million annually in accordance with section 287.057(15)(d), F.S.
