Job Description

Job Title: Construction Manager

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Construction Manager to oversee multifamily residential and commercial construction projects. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The Construction Manager is responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while upholding our core values of teamwork, respect, integrity, quality, and commitment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage general contractors and subcontractors to ensure compliance with contracts, design documents, schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Serve as the primary onsite company representative, fostering a positive and professional site environment.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and oversee project scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and quality control.
  • Participate in contractor selection, permitting, and design turnover processes.
  • Lead construction meetings, manage RFIs, ensure jobsite cleanliness and safety, and oversee punch lists and unit turnovers.
  • Collaborate with clients during walkthroughs and ensure client satisfaction during warranty periods.
  • Monitor and resolve budget variances, process applications for payment, and coordinate with lenders and consultants.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including as-built packages and warranty tracking.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma; Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Business strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of proven project management experience in commercial and/or multifamily residential construction.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with high-end/luxury construction and client service preferred.
  • Proficiency with construction management software (Procore experience desired).
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work both in the field and office environments.
