CHEMICAL QUALITY ENGINEER
Chemical Quality Engineer with chemical engineering experience is needed for a full-time permanent opportunity who has worked with operations located in Bessemer City, NC.

Position Summary:
- Title: Chemical Quality Engineer
- Location: Bessemer City, NC
- Salary: Estimated between $63,000 - $90,000
Responsibilities:
- Process Improvement: Use statistical methods to improve process effectiveness.
- Corrective Actions: Lead and support actions for product quality issues and customer complaints.
- Quality Reporting: Maintain records related to quality trends and corrective actions.
- Internal Audits: Conduct internal audits and other quality system functions.
- Supplier Qualification: Participate in supplier qualification and development activities.
- Statistical Analysis: Apply statistical concepts like hypothesis testing and control charting.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with ICH, FDA, IATF 16949:2016, and ISO regulations.
- Safety: Promote and follow company safety rules and regulations.
Requirements:
- Education: B.S. in Chemical Engineering.
- Experience: 1-3 years in a manufacturing environment with a focus on product quality and chemical manufacturing
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949.
- Proficiency in statistical tools like Minitab.
- Effective presentation skills.
- Project management abilities.
- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations.
- Chemical engineering experience
- Hands-on experience with day-to-day operations, including running a chemical production facility
- Experience overseeing production processes and managing equipment
- Familiarity with KOP or KPP (Key Operating Parameters/Key Performance Parameters)
