Job Summary

ACT is seeking a CAD Drafter who will assist Mechanical Design Engineers in preparing 2D detail and assembly drawings from AutoCAD inventor models. The position will also be responsible for document and ECO control, bill of material and part entry and fixture design. We have a robust mentorship program and believe strongly in collaboration between all departments and career development.

Must Have Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in CAD or two year technical school in mechanical design or commensurate applicable experience and education
• A working knowledge of or demonstrated interest in gaining knowledge of ASME Y14.100M: Engineering Drawing Practice and ASME14.5: Dimensioning and Tolerance
• Excellent computer skills to include AutoCAD Design Suite (Inventor), Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems
• Strong communication skills
• Math skills including addition, subtraction, decimals and fractions sufficient for dimensioning with math associated with electronic circuit theory preferred
• Good organizational skills, strong attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and a willingness to learn
