Role: Business Analyst – Emerging AI Technology

Type: Contract (6+ months)

Rate: $60.00 - $70.00/hr

Our client is a national leader in real estate and self-storage services, known for operational excellence and innovation. This role sits within their Digital Transformation department, driving AI adoption to reshape business processes and customer engagement at scale.

Role Overview:

The Business Analyst will focus on emerging AI technology within the Digital Transformation team. You'll be responsible for translating complex AI capabilities into actionable business requirements, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring continuous improvement in AI-powered workflows and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRD) and Functional Requirements Documents (FRD) for AI initiatives.
• Conduct gap analysis to identify discrepancies between current processes and AI-enabled future states.
• Validate AI configurations and outputs, including prompt engineering tools.
• Drive continuous improvement by analyzing AI solution performance and recommending iterative enhancements.
• Engage stakeholders across business and technical teams to ensure clear alignment and expectation management.
• Design, optimize, and document workflows incorporating AI technologies.
• Deliver clear presentations on AI project progress, challenges, and outcomes.
• Drive continuous process improvement and AI solution configuration.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (required).
• 4+ years of business analysis experience in enterprise or mid-sized organizations, ideally within Digital Transformation or technology teams.
• Hands-on familiarity with AI platforms, prompt engineering, and generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT).
• Strong skills in BRD, FRD, gap analysis, and validation.
• Effective cross-functional stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Workflow creation and process optimization expertise.
• Proficiency in process and system modeling (UML, BPMN, or similar).
