Job Description

Are you a seasoned Army logistics leader—someone who knows the grind of sustainment at brigade and below, and who’s lived the friction of GCSS-A, convoy delays, and “where’s my fuel?” moments? Axyde Analytics is delivering a first-of-its-kind predictive logistics assistant built for real-world tactical chaos—not PowerPoint. We’re looking for a veteran with the credibility, clarity, and command presence to serve as the connective tissue between our engineering team and the soldiers counting on this tool to work. If you’ve ever wished a piece of Army tech actually spoke your language—this is your chance to help build it right.

Clearance: Not required, but must understand CUI protocols.

Compensation: $110K–$130K/year base + travel + milestone bonus potential

Contract Term: 18-month fixed term

Start Date: Fall 2025, contingent on government contract award

Follow-On Opportunity: Permanent W-2 employment likely after contract completion

Axyde Analytics is building a predictive logistics assistant for the Army’s tactical edge—one that works under real-world pressure, degraded networks, and supply chain chaos. We are seeking a retired Army logistics professional to serve as our Soldier Integration Coordinator —bridging the software development team and the operational units conducting sustainment missions under fire.

This is a critical role—part integrator, part field advisor, and part translator of soldier insight into software evolution.

Ideal Background

🎯 Primary Target:

  • Retired CW2+ – 920B (Supply Systems Technician)

🔁 Accepted Warrant Officer Alternatives:

  • 920A (Property Accounting Technician)
  • 921A (Ammunition Technician)
  • 915A (Automotive Maintenance Technician with logistics leadership experience)

🪖 Accepted Enlisted Alternatives (E-7+):

  • 92Y (Unit Supply Specialist)
  • 92Z (Senior Logistics NCO)
  • 92A (Automated Logistical Specialist) with command post or predictive logistics exposure

🎓 Commissioned Officer Alternatives (O-3+):

  • Logistics Officers with TOC integration, deployment, or battalion/brigade-level sustainment command experience

🌍 Deployment and Mission Experience (Strongly Preferred)

  • Prior assignments supporting brigade-level and below sustainment in active duty environments
  • Experience in complex Class I, III, V, VII, IX operations
  • Familiarity with Southwest Border or Homeland Defense/DSCA missions

🛠️ Core Responsibilities

  • Act as the bridge between soldiers and software developers —your voice will shape every screen and logic rule
  • Walk through COAs, query results, semantic assistant behaviors, and mission scenarios with end-users
  • Validate real-world logistics friction and bring soldier-relevant realism to system workflows
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and AI modelers to explain doctrine, platforms (e.g., GCSS-A), and mission workflows
  • Flag shortfalls in model logic, DDIL behavior, and recommendation quality—and help us fix them
  • Organize and support structured feedback collection during field events, exercises, and TOC validations

🤝 Supported by a Full-Stack Team

You won’t be alone. While you’ll bring the real-world logistics experience , the Axyde team brings:

  • Platform engineers and AI architects
  • Front-end developers and UX writers
  • Doctrine analysts and technical writers
  • Data engineers and schema integrators

We don’t expect you to code —but we do expect you to speak soldier logistics fluently and know how GCSS-A, MTOE, convoy planning, and resupply logic actually work in the field.

If there are data gaps, software quirks, or interface friction , your job is to raise the flag—we’ll fix it. Your operational wisdom is the backbone of this system.

✈️ Travel & TDY Commitment

  • 2–4 short trips/month expected
  • Up to 2x 30–60 day TDY deployments per quarter to support validation at the Southwest Border, Fort Huachuca, or Fort Carson
  • Travel reimbursed at per diem rates
  • Remote when not deployed
