Job Title: AR Specialist

Location: Onsite in Louisville, KY

Pay: $17–$24/hr (based on experience)

Start Date: ASAP

Overview:

A leading healthcare organization is seeking experienced Accounts Receivable Representatives to support its Central Business Office. This position offers strong long-term potential. If you have a background in medical collections, denials, and appeals resolution, this could be an excellent opportunity to grow your healthcare career.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working all appeals and denials for claims through work ques
• Researching claim denials or rejections
• If denials from medical records - pull records and upload to payor portals
• Work directly with payors to get any additional information needed for denials
• Will be handling all appeals - both written and electronic

Qualifications:

• 2–3+ years of healthcare collections experience required
• Proven success resolving appeals and denials through completion
• Experience with EPIC or Cerner systems preferred
• Physician experience a plus; open to experience from the facility or payer side
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through in claim resolution

Schedule & Training:

• First 2 weeks: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (training schedule)
• After training: Choose a consistent 8-hour shift starting between 6:00 AM–9:00 AM
